Skills

The following skills are available to players dependent on their Subject Major and Minor/s.

BASIC SKILLS - Free

All characters can use these skills
- Detect Mortal Wounds (All)

     Determine if a target is mortally wounded. You must be within ten feet of the target.

- Participate in a ritual (All)

     You can participate in and add power to a ritual

- Foci Use (All)

     You can use a wand, small crystal ball or crystal-encrusted hand jewellery to cast spells

- Dagger Use (All)

     You can use a small dagger to cause damage.

ADVANCED OFFENSIVE SKILLS - 1pt

- Sword Use (Duellist)

     You can use a one-handed sword as an offensive weapon

- Shield Use (Duellist)

    You can carry and effectively use a shield to defend against physical attacks

- Staff Use (Duellist)

     You can use a two-handed staff as an offensive weapon without it breaking

- Low Level Poisons (Potion Making)

     You can brew low-level poisons

- Immunity to Disarm (Duelling, Banishment)

     You are unaffected by the Disarm spell

- Immunity to Knockback (Duelling, Banishment)

     You are unaffected by the Knockback spell

- Immunity to Strikedown (Duelling, Banishment)

     You are unaffected by the Strikedown spell

ADVANCED DEFENSIVE SKILLS - 1pt

- Improved Health (All Classes)

     You gain +2HP. This can be purchased multiple times.

- Low Level Healing Elixirs (Potion Making, Healing)

     You can brew low-level healing elixirs

- Low Level Antidotes (Potion Making, Healing)
     You can brew low-level antidotes

- Immunity to Sleep (Banishment)

     You are unaffected by the Sleep spell

- Immunity to Repel (Banishment)

     You are unaffected by the Repel spell

- Immunity to Mute (Banishment)

     You are unaffected by the Mute spell

ADVANCED PERCEPTION/MANIPULATION SKILLS - 1pt

- Ritual Leadership (All)

     You are able to lead rituals and rites. This spell can only be used once per hour.
- Tracking (Beastology)

     You can search for tracks or signs that something has been in the area
- Potion Identification (Potion Making)

     You are so familiar with potions that you can identify them by look alone.

- Sixth Sense (Divination)

     You attune yourself to the magical energies in an area to try and sense disturbances

- Discern Hit Points (Curative Arts) (S, O, T)

     You can look at a person and determine how injured they area (determine their max HP and current HP)

- Talismonger (Technomancy)
     You can imbue amulets and jewellery with magical effects

- Weaponsmith (Technomancy)

     You can imbue weapons with magical effects
- Couturier (Technomancy)

     You can imbue items of clothing with magical effects

- Scriber (Technomancy)

     You can imbue scrolls with magical effects

- Cartomancy (Divination)

     You can attempt to use cartomancy to foretell the future, divine the past, or learn about the present

- Lithomancy (Divination)

     You can attempt to use lithomancy to foretell the future, divine the past, or learn about the present

- Scrying (Divination)

     You can attempt to use scrying to foretell the future, divine the past, or learn about the present

- Psychography (Divination)

     You can attempt to use psychography to foretell the future, divine the past, or learn about the present

- Clairsentience (Divination)

     You can attempt to use clairsentience to determine the thoughts or emotions of a target. This skill may also result in infrequent (and often vague) visions of the future.

- Sciomancy (Divination)

     You can attempt to use sciomancy to foretell the future, divine the past, or learn about the present


MASTER OFFENSIVE SKILLS - 2pt

- High Level Poisons (Potion Making)

     You can brew high-level poisons

- Beast-Form Casting (All)

     Beast-form magi can cast while in their animal forms

- Demonology

     Discern information on a Demon entity

- Faeology

     Discern information on a Fae entity

- Spiritology

     Discern information on a ghost or spiritual entity

- Herbology

     Discern information on plantlife, fruits, trees, herbs etc

- Thaumoforensics

     Investigate dead bodies to determine information regarding their death
