ABOUT THE ACADEMY
The Flamel Academy follows the original dreams of our founder, Perenelle Flamel. We aim to draw together those with control over the magical forces that exist within our world, learn what we can about them, and put that knowledge to use for the betterment of all.
With the aid of our talented staff, our student body is also available to aid and assist in circumstances of magical concern. Such requests should be sent directly to the Headmistress by owl or through the flames.
Whether they be of the wise and free Platinum Pegasus, the valiant and victory-seeking Golden Dragon, or the unrelenting and just Bronze Phoenix, we know that all our students here at The Flamel Academy will achieve greatness on their paths to greater knowledge.
Prospective students are welcome to apply at any age over eighteen.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Due to the recent discovery by the National Educational Research Departmental Services into the origins of magic, we regret to inform our students and teachers that all current textbook material is now considered inaccurate until further notice. This is under the recommendation of the NERDS, as well as the International Magical Parliament, in an attempt to ensure that all educational facilities are passing on the most correct and up-to-date information possible.
As such, The Flamel Academy is in the process of re-writing all it's literature as research is being clarified and re-checked to ensure that it is accurate. We have also agrees with the IMP that The Flamel Academy will aid and assist in research wherever possible.

The Flamel Academy - A Wizarding LARP
The Flamel Academy is run by LEGENDARY LARP, with members of the team who brought you We Are Legends LARP. Inspired by various sources of witches, wizards, alcemy, magical creatures and the occult, we aim to deliver a small-sized LARP where challenges are hard and death is rare, allowing our players to feel they can really invest in the character they create.
The game is for players aged 18 and over, and you will be allowed to state your preference on playing a student, teacher or staff member.
The rules and background are still a work in progress, but we will be releasing information as it becomes available on our Facebook page.
This website is devised to look like and be utilised as an IC resource. Information beyond this front page will have text written in black font for IC information, and in italics for OC information. This will allow our players to use the site to reference skills, creatures, rules and information without breaking character or immersion. Yes, the internet exists in our magical world!
