Technomancy remains one of the subjects most open to experimentation and research within our educational communities, with no-one quite sure where the limits of this artform may lie! Technomancy allows the infusion of magic into otherwise mundane objects, allowing them to create, prevent, enhance or transform various magical effects. 

 

At The Flamel Academy, we teach several forms of Technomancy: Talismongery, Weaponsmithing, Couture, Scribing, as well as encouraging research into new forms of technomantic creations. Each of these specialisations come with many possibly uses, and we aid our students in thinking outside of the box in terms of what could be achieved!

Our Technomancy students learn how to choose a specialisation that fits them, how to decide on what effects their creation will have, how to gather parts and ingredients of relevance, and determine how complex the creation may be (and thus how long they'll be working on it!). Of course, as any experienced Technomancer will tell you, even the most practiced of crafter will sometimes fall foul of the unpredictability of magic. As such, our staff are on hand not only to provide the advice and direction needed to help ensure the greatest chance of success, but also to help piece you back together if it goes wrong.

Our Master of Technomancy is the ex director of R&D at Esoteric Effects, and is most renowned for their creation of Foci Gauntlets, which are now used by the Constabulary of Order and Protection in scenarios where visible use of Arcane Foci is ill-advised.
