
STEP FIVE: CHOOSE YOUR OPEN SKILLS
In addition to the skills and abilities you gain from the above choices, you have free reign on three additional Open Skills to help flesh out your character and can choose from the below. Some skills may be chosen multiple times for alternative options.

Connections - Magical, Mundane - You have connections you can contact, either magical or mundane, that may be able to provide information for you. Once per event, you may send a bird to one of these connections. You can buy this skill multiple times.

Diehard - Increases your Bleed Out time to 7 minutes

Elemental Resistance - You may resist an elemental call once every thirty seconds. Flame, Cold, Force, Lightning, others. Acid, cold, fire, force, holy, natural, necrotic, psychic, sonic.

Evasion - You may use Dodge against a melee or ranged attack once every minute.

Expertise - You may freely choose a Skill or Subject that you have expertise in that can add relevance or logic to encounters or situations. This can be in any subject and more specific, unlike the base Knowledge skill.

Familiar - You have a familiar. This can be phys-repped by a small puppet or soft toy.

First Aid - You can spend thirty seconds patching up wounds with appropriate roleplay such as applying bandages or poultices. This will bring someone who is bleeding out back to 0HP, unless they are under a condition that says otherwise.

Immune to Charms - You are immune to Charm Effects.

Immune to Fear - You are immune to Fear effects.

Immune to Poisons - You are immune to Poisons.

Light Armoured - You can wear Light Armour.

Linguist - You gain access to another language.

Lucky - Once per day, you may call Lucky to any given situation to receive a result in your favour. This could be narrowly escaping an explosion or succeeding at a difficult task. Requires a Ref.

Magic Initiate - Gain limited access to spells. You gain two cantrips and one 1st level spell, and have a mana pool of 8 to cast that spell. If you are already a Spellcaster, you gain one 1st level spell and an additional 4 mana.

Mundane Resistance - You are immune to one of the following skills. Disarm, Strike down, Knockback, Stun. This must be chosen at Character Creation.

Patron - Divine, Mundane, Warlock - You have a Patron who you may call upon for assistance, for a price. This may be a direct link to your Deity, a deal with a Devil, or simply an Archmage or Watch Commander who believes you show promise.

Observant - You can see people using the Stealth skill and have a higher chance at successfully identifying creature types.

Ritual Use - You may lead rituals and add additional power and relevance to them. You do not need to be a Spellcaster or have magical power to take this skill.

Sense Magic - You can sense magical energy in the area and uncover information about that energy. E.G. necromantic, abjuration, weak or strong.

Shield Use - You may use a shield in your off-hand.

Stealth - You are able to hide more effectively when over 70% of your body is concealed.

Thieves Tools and Thieves Cant - You may pick mundane locks and be able to read coded messages.

Tough - You have 1 additional hit per location.

Weapon Use - Choose between Two Handed, Bow Use, Ambidexterity, Thrown Weapon Use.

Wildshape - Combat - You are a Shifter who can transform into an animal, or animal hybrid, that makes you more effective in combat. You can transform once between the hours of 10am and 4pm, and once between the hours of 4pm and time out each day. While in this form, you gain the ability to fight with claws (if available and have passed claw-comp), or with ambi-weapons. You gain +3HP to your usual max. You are immune to Disarm and Knockback. You understand the same languages as in your humanoid form, but cannot speak them. You can speak to other animals of the same species as yourself. You can choose to end your transformation at any time, otherwise you transform back automatically after one hour.

Wildshape - Variable - You are a Shifter who can transform into an animal, or animal hybrid, that makes you more effective in non-combat situations. You can transform once between the hours of 10am and 6pm, and once between the hours of 6pm and time out each day. You understand the same languages as in your humanoid form, but cannot speak them. You can speak to other animals of the same species as yourself. While in this form, you may become more effective at movement, or stealth, or any number of other skills. This may be phys-repped by costume, a model or puppet of your wildshaped self, or other appropriate means. You can choose to end your transformation at any time, otherwise you transform back automatically after one hour.
