ABOUT THE ORGANISER
My name is Kelly, often referred to as KJ or KJP by a lot of my friends. I have been larping since 2008 (though I had dipped my toe in before that time, at a local larp system a friend of mine attended!) when I began playing the Lorien Trust system. Since then I have attended all the 'big three' major larp fests at least once, and played or crewed so many smaller systems that I have lost count!
My first experience of running games came from organising sanctioned events within The Vale's game world, which then led onto myself and one of my very good friends setting up Future's End Larp Events Ltd (and, by association, Future's End LARP) in 2015.
Skipping forward to 2019, I felt I was in a good position to start running my own games, utilising ideas that I'd been sitting on for some time and getting fellow Larper Friends involved to help them become a reality.
As such, Legendary LARP now operates as a private limited company registered in the UK. We fully run our own games, as well as bring on other plot writing teams on board to help bring their ideas to life as well!

We dress our crew in purple hi-vis to make them identifiable but not too glaringly obvious

Players pose with a missile they found in-play, and were sad to discover it was non-working

ABOUT LEGENDARY LARP
Legendary LARP originally began as a single game: "We Are Legends". However, after the success of the first game and encouraged by the growing interest in the second, myself and my team decided to expand into another game inspired by "Dark Arts and Magical Creatures" by Jon Henderson. As such, The Flamel Academy was born. From there, additional ideas for campaign games and one-off experiences have also been mentioned and are in the works and, due to the number of games and potential future events being plotted, it seemed only logical to run them all under a single name.

We also take other games under our banner and assist in the organisation and running of these events, thus making running a LARP game more accessible to those who have great ideas but need assistance on the event management side of things. One such game is "Gods and Monsters", which is the brainchild of UK larper Johanna Tooze and is being run under the Legendary LARP banner.

Legendary LARP runs entirely as not-for-profit.
We currently hold a comprehensive insurance policy underwritten by Hiscox..
My Core Team

Rob (aka Quiet Man)
Plot writer and referee for all Legendary LARP games, including being creative mind behind everything to do with Untitled Fantasy LARP. Rob is a writer at heart and we take full advantage of that, with Rob having written almost all of the textbook content for The Flamel Academy!
He loves roast dinners and chocolate brownies so, while not the easiest person to bribe, it's not impossible...

Emma (aka Crew Chief)
With dominion over the crew room at almost all of our events, Emma helps keep the Good Ship Legendary sailing on smooth waters. She's a master of making sure plot goes out as close to on-time as possible, keeping monsters briefed and well looked after, while still jumping into whatever role needs her most. Between events, she is an expert in administration and aids KJ in the logistical side of arranging events.

Ash (aka Dogman)
Plot writer for Legendary LARP games, NPC for The Flamel Academy, and referee for We Are Legends. Ash joined our team after asking for the opportunity to try refereeing at We Are Legends and, proving himself excellent at it, was invited to stay permanently as a game ref.
